Project Overview

Empower Field at Mile High is famous for its horseshoe design and steel seating terraces. With a modest budget of $401 million dollars, the structure seats 76,000 fans on five levels in a 1.8 million square-foot open-air stadium.

Its unique upper profile includes steel, glass and aluminum elements that reflect the Rocky Mountains to the west, and the Denver skyline to the east.

Five concourse levels made from concrete slabs wrap three seating bowls made of steel treads and risers. The upper bowl rises out then dips inward to create a wave-like profile.
