Project Overview

In a 176,000 square foot expansion, the Chandler Regional Medical Center project included a five-story tower to increase patient capacity and improve hospital facilities.

The addition provided space for a new emergency department, intensive care unit, chapel, patient rooms and food service facilities.

Efficient project delivery methods and design-build strategies were utilized throughout the $74-million dollar project incorporating a great deal of collaboration. BIM modeling ensured the project aligned with the owner’s original design and identified issues early on.

As a result, the Chandler Regional Medical Center was completed 105 days ahead of schedule and $4 million dollars under budget.
