Aria Convention Center
With the completion of a $154 million dollar expansion project, the Aria convention center offers more than 500,000 square feet of technologically advanced, flexible meeting space. Divided amongst four stories, features include indoor open-air space and a glass-enclosed venue with views of The Park and Las Vegas Arena.
The expansion required building connections between new steel and existing steel within a tight space, making worksite safety a challenge for the Schuff Steel team. Steel erection of 12 large trusses needed to be scheduled for delivery in a “just in time” environment while accommodating a limited entrance and exit way space making it essential for efficient off-loading and erection. The project was completed in 2018, and was built to LEED Gold standards.
