Project Overview
Erecting the tower presented major logistical challenges. Three of its four steel legs pass through the casino’s interior while the fourth spans the exterior. A custom-designed crane—the largest in the U.S. at the time—was used for construction. The tower’s detailing follows Gustave Eiffel’s original design, and its observation deck rises 460 feet above the Strip, offering 360-degree views of the city.
Schuff Steel played a pivotal role in the success of this project, fabricating all 5,000 tons of structural steel and providing design assist services throughout the development process. The team helped navigate the intricacies of the tower’s unique geometry and steel detailing, coordinating closely with the architect and general contractor to deliver a structurally sound and visually faithful replica.
