TXU Corporation’s Sandow Unit 5 Power Plant is a 600 MW generating facility in Milam County, Texas scheduled for completion in 2009. Schuff Steel provided over 10,000 tons of fabricated steel for the project.

Sakhalin EPC-1 - Sakhalin Island, Russia
The Sakhalin EPC-1 project was the start of a vast petrochemical recovery and processing plant owned by a multinational consortium. Operated by Exxon Neftegas Limited, the project is located in Sakhalin Island, Russia. Schuff provided over 3,000 tons of structural steel for this phase, which was completed in 2005.

Cerro Verde Mine - Arequipa, Peru
Cerro Verde Mine was completed by Schuff Steel in 2006. The project is located in Arequipa, Peru and includes over 12,000 tons of structural steel. Schuff managed 20 fabricators, utilizing a mix of domestic and South American shops to meet the demanding project schedule.

Moses Lake Expansion - Moses Lake, WA
Schuff Steel fabricated more than 9,000 tons for REC Solar Grade Silicon’s Moses Lake Expansion in Moses Lake, Washington. This project is scheduled for completion in early 2009.
