Schuff Steel is proud to announce our expansion into the Pacific Northwest with our newest location in Portland, Oregon. As the largest steel fabricator and self-performing erector in the region, our team will help serve the need for complex structural steel projects in potentially seismic areas throughout Oregon and Washington.
Managing both capabilities of a project inhouse, allows us to fabricate steel in a way that enables efficiency in sequencing helping to avoid issues further along the project’s lifecycle. This also naturally eliminates duplicative markups otherwise incurred in a project’s budget with the use of a subcontracted erection team. With both expertise under one roof, we are able to offer our clients high value in both project efficiency and budget.
We have welcomed two new members to our leadership team in the Pacific Northwest, Gary Frayn (General Manager, Pacific Northwest) and Kevin Patterson (VP of Operations, Pacific Northwest). Both of these individuals have been part of the Pacific Northwest construction industry for years and bring extensive knowledge of the market and steel designed solutions.
